Why Chrome Mobile Emulator Delivers Inaccurate Results (Sometimes it fails in actual device)?

I have been doing responsive testing of a website in the mobile emulator available in Chromium. There was no issue while checking the site. But when I checked in the actual device the texts are overlapping. Can anyone tell me the reason?
